What you'll need

  • Photo ID (passport or driving licence)
  • Proof of your right to work in the UK
  • A current DBS certificate
  • Optional: qualifications, training certificates, insurance and references

Fees for carers

Registration is free. An illustrative platform fee of 10% applies to transactions arranged through the platform. You always see the breakdown first.

As an independent worker you are responsible for your own tax, insurance and the way you deliver your services.

Barileon Connect is an introductory platform linking families with independent support workers, who agree arrangements directly with clients. Barileon Limited is not currently registered with the CQC and does not provide or supervise support. Only non-regulated services are available - no personal care.
