Document checks
Admin review of photo ID, right to work and DBS documents before a profile is published. Expiry dates are tracked with reminders.
Secure data handling
Documents are stored privately and are only visible to the carer and authorised Barileon administrators. Access is logged.
Safeguarding concerns
Anyone signed in can raise a safeguarding concern. Our team reviews it and refers to the local authority or police where appropriate.
Audit trail
Key actions such as approvals, setting changes and document access are recorded in an audit log.
If someone is at immediate risk
Call 999 in an emergency. To report concerns about an adult at risk, contact the adult social care team at your local council. You can also raise a concern with Barileon from your account.
Barileon's checks do not replace your own judgement. Please meet and speak with any carer before agreeing support.
Barileon Connect is an introductory platform linking families with independent support workers, who agree arrangements directly with clients.
