These terms apply to individuals and families who use Barileon Connect to find independent support workers. They sit alongside the Terms of Use.
Free of charge
Families and individuals use Barileon Connect free of charge. You do not pay Barileon to register, search, view profiles, send enquiries, message workers, post care requests or report concerns. Barileon will never ask you to buy credits or a subscription.
Arranging support
You agree the support, schedule, hourly rate and payment method directly with the independent worker. Barileon is not a party to that arrangement and does not handle payment for support.
Only non-regulated support (for example companionship, shopping assistance, light housekeeping, accompanying to appointments) may be arranged. Personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting or medication administration is not available through Barileon Connect.
Your responsibilities
Meet new workers safely (a video call first is a good idea), never share bank details or passwords in messages, and tell us about any concern straight away.
Ending your account
You can download your data or delete your account at any time from Account settings.
Barileon Connect is an introductory platform linking families with independent support workers, who agree arrangements directly with clients. Barileon Limited is not currently registered with the CQC and does not provide or supervise support. Only non-regulated services are available - no personal care.
