These terms apply when an independent support worker buys a Barileon Connect membership from Barileon Limited (Company No. 08496766), registered in England and Wales, registered office 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF.
Plans
Free registration (£0): create a profile, complete checks and preview your listing. Connect (£9.99 per month): appear in public searches and receive and reply to enquiries. Connect Plus (£19.99 per month): everything in Connect plus enhanced profile presentation, portfolio photographs, an optional introductory video and advanced profile analytics.
Prices are in GBP and may be changed by Barileon with at least 30 days' notice by email before the new price applies to you.
What membership is - and is not
The membership fee is for platform membership, profile visibility and access to introductory enquiries. It is not a fee for providing care, a percentage of your earnings or a commission on any arrangement. Membership does not guarantee enquiries, clients or earnings.
Paying for a plan never bypasses identity, safeguarding or profile approval checks. Connect Plus is not evidence of better safety, qualifications, background checks or care quality, and is never labelled as such.
Visibility rules
Your profile appears in search only while your account is active, your profile is complete, your checks are approved, your services are permitted, your membership is active and your account is not suspended or restricted.
Payment
Payments are taken by our payment provider, Stripe. Barileon never stores your full card details. VAT: see the VAT statement on the membership page.
Automatic renewal
Paid plans renew automatically every month on the same date until you cancel. We show the price and renewal date before you pay and in My Membership, and we email you 7 days and 1 day before each renewal.
Price changes
If we change a plan price, we email existing members at least 30 days before the new price applies to them. You can cancel before then and will not pay the new price.
Barileon Connect is an introductory platform linking families with independent support workers, who agree arrangements directly with clients. Barileon Limited is not currently registered with the CQC and does not provide or supervise support. Only non-regulated services are available - no personal care.
